Post by Napalm » Sat Aug 21, 2010 12:57 am

Alot of new scripters (new ones) are ask the crap outta meh where do I pt the scripts......... so dis iz 4 u :D

first make sure its in notepad....I'll tell you how to run it at the end ^^

1: goto my computer

2: then next Local disk (C:)

3: Program files

4: Steam

5: Steamapps

6: den YOUR STEAM NAME

7: Half-life 2 deathmatch

8: HL2MP

Most important part | 9: CFG

SAVE YOUR SCRIPT FROM NOTEPAD INSIDE CFG FILE.
______________________________________________________________________

Running your new script ** make sure you did this right above**

Ok this is why you need to save it in notepad.

What ever you named it in notepad **|example|** bomb1.txt/ or bomb1.cfg

ok In hl2dm open your console with this button ~

Then what ever you named Your script in notepad for exp: bomb1.txt

________________________________________________________
exec bomb1.txt
_____________________________________________________
Thats how you run your script Feel free to add or edit this other incase I missed something........

If you really can't get it still just ask me in steam or ingame ^^ I play on both servers.

I hope this was really helpful to you ^^

If you want to add me in steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Napalm_bomb

only thing to add is that saving scripts as a .cfg is easier since u dont have to the file extension in the console to execute it (like .txt).
Ex.
Save as: bomb.cfg
In console: exec bomb
